Join a startup team that is advancing their life saving product to market as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer! This team is rapidly growing and is aiming to save a countless amount of lives! This role will play a major contribution in developing and designing mechanical subsystems of the product. You will work closely with internal and external staff to ensure manufacturability of the subsystems. Candidates should have at least 7+ years in mechanical design in the medical device manufacturing industry.

responsibilities:
- Develop and design mechanical pumps, valves, fluids, and connectors
- Plan, perform, and analyze design study data
- Assist with design and development of product packaging
- Collaborate with external vendors regarding manufacturability of subcomponents
- Experience with Solidworks and MATLAB
- Knowledge of ISO 13485/9001 required
- 7+ years of mechanical design in a medical device manufacturing environment
