A Construction Inspector is needed for a leading engineering and design firm in Lexington, Ma. The Construction Inspector is responsible for leading Title II Construction Inspectors and inspections. In addition, the construction inspector will perform on-site quality assurance services.
Qualified candidates must have a BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and 5+ years of QC Construction experience with DoD or US Army Corps of Engineer projects. This is a contract role slated to last 12+ months, and per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
- Lead Title II Construction Inspectors and inspections
- Perform payment inspections and validation of progress against the required forms
- Work with subcontractors daily to ensure that the project is constructed & documented in accordance with the project specifications, policies, detailed drawings & industry standards
- Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff)
- Inspect the construction efforts on this DoD project to ensure that it is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
