Electrical Engineer needed in the MidAtlantic Region for a leading Engineering and Construction firm. This person will join a team focused on the full cycle design and construction on Commercial Facilities including High rise structures, Higher Education and Healthcare facilities, Office buildings and large warehouses. Ideal candidates would have at least 6 years of experience and either have a valid PE or be able to obtain on in the first 6 months of employment. Candidates can sit in Chesapeake VA, Raleigh NC or Roanoke VA. Relocation assistance may be available depending on candidate expertise.

responsibilities:
- Perform electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
- Modify and review production drawings for a variety of projects
- Understand and apply knowledge for the design and development of HVAC, Plumbing, Power, Lighting, AV, Security and other systems critical to commercial construction.
- Design electrical components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
- Applies strong knowledge of commonly used electrical engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry.
- Research and compile project related data as required by the project managers.
- Update drawings provided by senior engineers to verify corrections are made within multiple CAD related software.
- Performs field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
