job summary:
A Senior Analog Mixed Signal Layout Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services. Remote (prefer Raleigh, NC). This job designs and verifies custom analog mixed-signal circuit layouts using advanced FinFET technology, contributing to next-gen IP development and successful tapeouts.

responsibilities:

Design and create layouts for analog mixed-signal circuits using deep finFET technology (?5nm).

Collaborate with design teams to optimize circuit performance and power efficiency.

Define project schedules and adhere to deadlines independently.

Perform physical verification (LVS, DRC, ERC) using industry-standard tools (e.g., Virtuoso, Calibre).

Mentor and guide junior layout engineers.

Support successful tapeouts of complex circuits.



Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in analog mixed-signal layout design.
  
  
  
  
• Minimum 4 years with Custom/Digital IP layout.
  
  
  
  
• Minimum 4 years using Virtuoso and Calibre.
  
  
  
  
• Minimum 2 years experience with tapeout delivery.
  
  
  
  
• strong understanding of finFET technology (5nm or below).
  
  
  
  
• Experience with LDOs, Bandgap references, ADCs, DACs, and Amplifiers.
  
  
  
  
• Proficient in circuit verification processes: LVS, DRC, ERC.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CMOS technology in mixed-signal design.
  
  
  
  
• Experience with foundational analog building blocks.
  
  
  
  
• Proven ability to work independently and manage timelines.
