Injection Mold Design Engineer opportunity with a client located in the Bethpage, NY area. This position will be responsible for working with customer product designs and specifications, designing new injection molds, and for design engineering changes on existing molds. Relocation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

responsibilities:
- Work with customers in the design of new injection molds
- Designing engineering changes on existing molds
- Support customer needs in design and engineering
- Deliver complete fabrication ready 3D mold designs
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree
- Approximately 2 or more years experience in mold design and engineering
- SolidWorks CAD design experience
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to research and solve problems, develop solutions and present solutions for implementation
