An Engineering Project Manager is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This Project Manager role leads the planning and execution of automotive verification and validation testing, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards while coordinating cross-functional teams and resources.

responsibilities:
- Plan and execute verification & validation (V&V) test plans based on project deliverables.
- Identify required resources and budgets for project execution.
- Ensure project delivery meets Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature (QDCF) targets.
- Manage incoming test requests using a risk-based approach, in collaboration with Feature Engineers.
- Prioritize test plans and proactively communicate risks.
- Represent the Complete Vehicle team in design reviews, project management meetings, and customer clinics.
- Coordinate simulation, rig tests, and test truck usage for test execution.
- Lead feature reviews and report V&V status and progress to project teams.
- Contribute to project documentation, including specifications, risk registers, and lessons learned.
- PMP Certification required.
- Experience with risk analysis, FMEA, and project quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Design Verification Plan (DVP) and Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of FMVSS/CMVSS regulations.
- strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of project management experience, ideally in the automotive industry.
