A Construction Supervisor with a mechanical background is needed for a arge construction project in the Greensboro, NC metro area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing the installation of large, complex machinery and processes associated with new production lines. Responsibilities include supporting the construction management of contractors, ensuring the quality of machine and process installations, and acting as a liaison between production engineering and construction contractors for effective project management.
Qualifications include experience in a construction environment, proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PPT, and the ability to use AutoCAD for drawing review and bid pack creation. Good mechanical skills for setting, leveling, and adjusting large machinery are essential. Additional qualifications include previous skilled trades experience (Ironworker/Millwright/Pipe Fitter) and familiarity with machine uncrate, installation, setting, and leveling processes. This is a contract role slated to last at least 12+ months, with a distinct possibility for extension. Our client is only seeking local talent at this time.
