Leading electrical and electronic products manufacturer within the Portsmouth NH area is in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. Candidates must have 3+ years of Industrial Mechanical experience. This will include the ability to install and repair motors, drives, starters, gears, pumps or any other trade related equipment. Through this experience you must be able to read interpret blueprints, troubleshoot and install all mechanical equipment and controls.
This is a 1 year contract to hire position ranging from $28-$30/hr. Please apply today!

responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain mechanical devices and equipment using hand tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the trouble shooting methods on any given equipment and ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
- Provide assistance during site emergencies.
- Must follow all safety rules and regulations including, but not limited to: lock out tag out, confined space entry, hazardous material handling.
- Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems and components.
- Troubleshoot, repair and preform preventative maintenance on all mechanical systems.
