A Designer / Modeler is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Moline, IL area. This designer/modeler role supporting product engineering through 3D CAD modeling, drafting, and technical documentation under supervision, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and collaboration.

responsibilities:
- Assist with feasibility testing and design validation.
- Support engineering by creating drawings and interpreting engineering data.
- Help develop testing standards and procedures.
- Participate in product development activities and analyze client or data inputs.
- Respond to routine inquiries and resolve basic procedural issues.
- Learn and follow company and regulatory policies.
- Operate equipment and troubleshoot simple inefficiencies.
- Input data accurately from provided information.
- Handle basic customer or supplier queries, escalate complex ones.
- Proficiency in Creo modeling and drafting.
- Familiarity with PDM/Windchill systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to collaborate with engineers to produce 3D models and technical drawings.
- Understands and can calculate basic tolerance stack-ups.
