A Quality Shipping Administrator is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Orange, CT area. The Quality Shipping Administrator ensures shipments meet quality standards through inspections, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to address any issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-shipment quality checks for product integrity, correct labeling, and compliance with specifications.
- Ensure all shipments meet customer requirements as outlined in Contract Review.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve shipping quality issues with support from production and QC teams.
- Maintain thorough documentation of inspections and non-conformances.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to shipment quality.
- Collaborate with customer service to provide up-to-date shipping information.
- Organize and file electronic certification and QA records.
- Assist the Lead Inspector and QA Department Manager as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced settings.
- strong reading and writing skills for interpreting technical and customer documentation.
- ERP system experience (Preferred).
- strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Understanding of quality control processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- 2-4 years of quality inspection experience (Strongly Preferred).
