This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who's ready to bring their CNC expertise to a dynamic and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of CNC programming experience, along with solid proficiency in both Mastercam and SolidWorks. A deep understanding of machining principles, GD&T, and the ability to select the appropriate tooling strategies is essential. Familiarity with various metal alloys is important, and while experience with Mazak CNC machines is a plus, it's not a dealbreaker.

responsibilities:
- Create machining strategies to convert design data into machined components.
- Develop manufacturing plans for large-scale production.
- Design custom tools and fixtures as required.
- Prepare setup sheets to illustrate the alignment of CNC program geometry with the physical workpiece.
- Identify, select, and acquire the appropriate tooling for specific job applications, considering factors like part material, geometry, features, tolerances, system rigidity, and equipment capabilities.
- Release validated programs to the production team.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to reduce machining/setup time and enhance part quality.
- Maintain configuration control of files and job records.
- Work safely within an industrial environment.
