A Scheduler is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in Raleigh, NC or Houston, TX areas. This role leads planning and scheduling for large-scale, complex projects using expert knowledge of Primavera P6, providing strategic direction and solutions while demonstrating leadership in project controls.

responsibilities:
- Assigned to complex, multi-year projects with budgets over $50MM.
- Expert in Primavera P6 project planning and scheduling software.
- Solves complex project control problems and develops innovative solutions.
- Recommends best practices based on internal/external business needs.
- Recognized as a Project Controls expert within the organization.
- Able to troubleshoot and correct project scheduling/control issues.
- Operates within broad guidelines with access to informed support.
- May assign tasks, advise on problems, and review technical accuracy of others' work.
- Post-secondary education in Engineering.
- P.Eng or equivalent required.
- 7-10 years of total experience, with at least 2 years in construction or project work.
- Proven high performer as demonstrated in prior reviews.
- PMP certification preferred.
