An Engineering Services Test Technician is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Winston-Salem, NC area. The Engineering Services Test Technician supports engineering teams in building, testing, and evaluating commercial aircraft seating and components, applying mechanical skills, testing knowledge, and attention to detail in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with peers and engineers to build and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture.
- Provide technical support for engineering tasks related to testing and development.
- Consult with engineers on test article builds, test procedures, and results.
- Proficiency with a variety of hand tools.
- Understanding of basic mechanical and manufacturing principles.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace or automotive.
- Background in testing and quality assurance environments.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and make sound judgments in fast-paced settings.
- Familiarity with metal machining and fabrication equipment.
- Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
