A Safety, Health and Environmental Specialist is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Fremont, MI area. This role supports the Safety Health & Environmental Manager by implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, supporting system migrations, and developing training content to ensure compliance and promote a safe manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical reviews and assist with system migrations.
- Perform hazard evaluations and risk assessments for job tasks and equipment.
- Support the migration of document management systems.
- Carry out machine guarding assessments.
- Update and develop safety training content.
- Provide general support for other SHE systems and initiatives as directed.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a related field (preferred).
- 2-5+ years of experience in implementing SHE activities in a manufacturing or similar environment, or equivalent education and experience.
- General knowledge of plant operations, including production, maintenance, and warehouse functions.
- Understanding of safe equipment operation and environmental impacts of processes.
- strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals of varying technical backgrounds.
