The Engine Assembly Engineer would be responsible for ensuring precision assembly, compliance with FAA Part 145 standards, and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting 850+ part numbers and 30 sub-assemblies.

responsibilities:
- Assembly Execution: Lead hands-on assembly of engine modules using precision tools and automated systems, ensuring tolerances meet OEM specifications.
- Quality Compliance: Conduct root cause corrective actions for assembly discrepancies, drafting Requests for Variance (RFVs) per FAA Part 145 to address outages and ensure airworthiness.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with design and quality teams to streamline assembly workflows, reducing cycle times while maintaining 99.9% first-pass yield targets.
- Maintenance Support: Partner with MRO teams to troubleshoot and repair turbine and compressor components, leveraging IEEE 1633 principles for diagnostics where applicable.
