job summary:
A Production Planning Analyst for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Redmond, WA area. This role is responsible for developing and executing production plans by aligning sales orders, material availability, and capacity, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery and continuous process improvement.

responsibilities:

Analyze sales orders within planning lead time to ensure material availability.

Maintain and adjust sales order due dates based on material and capacity.

Coordinate with Sales Support for priority updates and rescheduling needs.

Ensure customer delivery requirements are consistently met.

Collaborate with Operations Project Managers and Material Coordinators on engineering changes.

Participate in material allocation in partnership with Sales and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

Conduct trend and issue analysis to identify planning challenges and support resolution efforts.

Represent planning team on cross-functional project teams.

Use planning tools to develop tactical inventory and supply solutions.

Support production team with root-cause analysis of production issues.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.



Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  
  
  
  
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  
  

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

• APICS Certification.
  
  
  
  
• Experience with QAD and/or SAP.
  
  
  
  
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word; intermediate in PowerPoint.
  
  
  
  
• strong skills in planning, analysis, organization, and attention to detail.
  
  
  
  
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  
  
  
  
• Working knowledge of sales order management, production scheduling, inventory control, ERP/MRP systems, and procurement.
  
  
  
  
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
