The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing a variety of engineering projects, from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires technical skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works or Inventor)
- Willingness to travel up to 50% in the US

responsibilities:
- Creates project scope and budget. Prepares drawings, procures equipment, selects contractors, plans work, and assures safe practices on assigned projects.
- Coordinates and manages projects including field installations, start-up of new equipment, and modifications to existing plants and equipment. Tracks project scope, cost, and schedule and distributes monthly update reports.
- Develops new processing methods and modifications identified by plant operating management to reduce cost and increase efficiency and profitability.
- Recommends plant modifications and changes to plant management to include layout, engineering design, cost estimates, and procedures.
