The right candidate will have experience in high-voltage system design and integration. This role involves project-level responsibilities on sales orders, including custom high-voltage power supply design (up to 300 kV / 500 kW), integration into existing products, and support for the next-generation of systems. Candidates should have 6-10 years of experience, a background in high-voltage or solid-state power supply design, and familiarity with complex control systems (PLC, vacuum, pneumatic, etc.). Coordination skills across engineering, manufacturing, and test teams are essential.

responsibilities:
- Manage system-level engineering responsibilities for sales orders, including new designs or integration into existing systems.
- Design and evaluate high-voltage power supplies up to 300 kV and power levels up to 500 kW.
- Participate in the development of next-generation electron beam accelerator systems.
- Analyze circuits and solve design and troubleshooting tasks using engineering methods.
- Provide support to Manufacturing, Field Service, and R&D initiatives.
- Guide and provide directions to other engineers, designers, and technicians as needed.
- Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
