Our client is seeking a skilled PCB Designer to join their team in supporting the development of cutting-edge radio communication equipment used by the military and first responders.
In this role, the PCB Designer will play a key part in layout design activities, using advanced design software to create, modify, review, and validate layouts for rigid, flex, and rigid-flex printed circuit boards.
**This position is eligible for a bonus and is open to qualified relocation candidates.

responsibilities:
- Utilize Mentor PADS layout software to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into new and revised PCB designs.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional design team to resolve fabrication, assembly, and test issues identified through Valor NPI fabrication and manufacturing checks.
- Create standard and complex PCB layouts leveraging design methodologies by board technology, e.g., RF, digital, analog, power supply.
- Create and update design files and documentation to incorporate changes to schematic, BOMs, detail drawings, etc., maintaining proper PLM file structure.
- Create PCB stackups and model-controlled impedance.
- Perform peer reviews of complex PCB layout designs.
- Create and maintain PCB layout design guidelines.
- Support the assessment and implementation of new and upgraded PCB design software.
- Create and improve checklists and procedures associate with the PCB layout design process.
- Must have expierence and background in PCB layout design
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years or prior relevant PCB layout design experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related PCB design experience.
