responsibilities:
- Works primarily on the manufacturing floor to assist operators in documenting processes to reduce defects, improve workflow, design line changes, and line balancing.
- Leads 5S methods, continuous process improvements, and Kaizen programs.
- Tracks and reports metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
- Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Industrial Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have experience with optimization, set-up, or movement of metal fabrication and assembly machinery.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience with time studies, line balancing, and process flow bottleneck analysis.
