A Quality Inspector is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Orange, CT area. This role will perform hands-on inspection of manufactured products and materials to ensure they meet dimensional, functional, and quality standards while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting production flow.

responsibilities:
- Compare dimensions, form, fit, and function of parts against blueprint specifications.
- Ensure workmanship meets general standards using inspection knowledge.
- Apply Good Documentation Practices in all quality records.
- Perform product inspections for dimensional consistency, finish, and workmanship.
- Keep product inspections on schedule to meet external processing and delivery deadlines.
- Inspect incoming materials, review certifications, and issue reports in ERP system (DMR/NCMR) if necessary.
- Perform in-process inspections during manufacturing.
- Review certification packages and release products for shipment using ERP.
- Maintain electronic certification records and organize QA files.
- High attention to detail and consistency.
- Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Experience in smaller production/manufacturing environments.
- Some familiarity with Visual Measuring Systems is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- 2-4 years of quality inspection experience (Strongly Preferred).
