A Site Loss Control Specialist is needed for an American social media conglomerate corporation in the Toney, AL area. This position oversees construction safety through risk assessments, incident management, and safety program implementation while operating within an OCIP framework to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments for all construction-related tasks on-site.
- Maintain strong working relationships with project teams to promote a zero-incident safety culture.
- Provide safety guidance to project teams and contractors to implement effective on-site safety practices.
- Lead and facilitate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the DEC loss control team to ensure job functions and deliverables meet or exceed standards.
- Support and participate in on-site safety training programs.
- Build cross-functional relationships to support a cooperative safety environment.
- Integrate into the construction process to ensure safety measures are incorporated from the start.
- Experience in OCIP environments and environmental health & safety enhancement programs.
- Proven ability to collaborate with contractors and team members.
- Understanding of electrical/mechanical systems in data center construction.
- Knowledge of design-build processes and associated industry documentation.
- Experience with both ground-up construction and retrofit projects, especially in mission-critical or occupied spaces.
- 5+ years in construction safety roles.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or OSHA 500 certification.
