A global manufacturer is seeking a change agent Maintenance Manager for its Middletown facility. This is a high-impact role that will involve leading a team, continuing and improving Reliability/SOPs, and partnering with production/operations in a safety-first culture. responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance:
- Monitor safety KPIs
- Perform audits to verify compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Conduct training and coaching sessions
- Direct overall maintenance efforts to meet production and customer needs safely and efficiently
- Respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot issues
- Implement equipment improvements and an effective preventative maintenance program
- Coach, mentor, and manage employee performance
- Handle conflict resolution, recruitment, termination, and succession planning
- Oversee training, scheduling, and timekeeping
- Approve expenditures and monitor spending
- Develop budgets and forecast expenses
- Assess spending at month-end
- Capture KPI data and prepare performance reports
- Communicate key information to employees and management
- Review performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Assign resources and network to find necessary support
- Develop capital improvement plans
- Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and risk reduction
- Execute capital projects
