A Lab Technician is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Malvern, PA area. A Chemical Lab Technician supports R&D efforts by performing hands-on experiments, analyzing data, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring safety while contributing to the development and improvement of gypsum board products.

responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively in lab settings to support projects.
- Prepare and process gypsum board samples for testing.
- Conduct standard and exploratory experiments.
- Collect and analyze scientific data using lab equipment.
- Perform basic statistical data analysis and record findings.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot lab equipment and tools.
- Lead troubleshooting and coordinate equipment repairs with vendors.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and order through 5S and inventory tasks.
- Report findings clearly and technically in summary formats.
- Ensure safety compliance and continuous hazard evaluation.
- Understanding of basic statistical tools and data interpretation.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with lab tools/machinery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to learn company policies and operational structure.
