Growing manufacturer in Sarasota is seeking a Design Drafter to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree in Mechanical drafting or design; proficiency in CAD software; Pro-E preferred, or Solidworks, and at least 2 years of manufacturing design experience.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the futre.

responsibilities:
- Create and revise detailed CAD drawings for parts, assemblies, and complete product structures.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Interpret specifications, design inputs, and safety standards to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
- Provide input on part/assembly cost, materials, and manufacturability.
- Use established processes and design standards to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Update legacy drawings and documentation.
- Associate's degree or diploma in Mechanical drafting or design
- At least 2 years of design experience in manufacturing
- Proficiency in Pro-E CAD software (preferred) or Solidworks
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office software
