Cultural Resources Specialist needed for to conduct project studies and surveys, construction monitoring, archaeological excavation and associated field work on a variety of projects in and around North Dakota. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Archeology, Anthropology, Sociology or similar field. Ideal candidates will have experience in field survey or construction monitoring. This role will require travel to North Dakota. All travel arrangements will be taken care of by the client.

responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, communicate and facilitate activities for the cultural resources' components of projects from concept through completion.
- Work with a team to perform field surveying including walking across landscapes in systematic patterns, looking for artifacts, features, or other signs of human activity.
- Record findings with field notes, GPS data, maps, sketches, and photos.
- Perform shovel testing- digging small test holes at regular intervals to determine if anything is buried.
- Assist in meeting federal and state laws which require checking for cultural resources before construction can begin
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external clients.
