The lead administrator supports the daily operations of the internal audit department, handling confidential information with discretion. This role involves coordinating administrative duties to ensure office efficiency, requiring experience, judgment, and proficiency in business software (e.g., MS Suite, Teams, PowerPoint). Responsibilities include maintaining calendars, arranging travel, coordinating meetings, and managing expenses. The position provides exposure to internal audit processes, with responsibilities divided as follows:
- Audit committee meeting materials (25%)
- Preparing audit committee reporting (25%)
- Administrative assistance to internal audit management (25%)
- Assisting with internal audits (25%)
- 3-4 years of insurance-related experience preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree desirable
- Proficient in handling confidential information
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interaction at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- strong attention to detail and business vocabulary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
- Audit Committee Support:
- Compile and deliver meeting materials
- Prepare presentations for audit committee and senior leadership
- Administrative Support:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and provide telephone support
- Handle office functions (ordering supplies, processing payments, filing, mailings)
- Coordinate travel arrangements and off-site meetings
- Assist with new employee onboarding
- Audit Support:
- Perform audit procedures and manage report review and distribution
- Conduct quality reviews and maintain electronic audit files
- Assist with audit software administration
- Participate in ad hoc projects
