Key Responsibilities:
- Journal Entries: Accurately write and enter journal entries for two companies.
- Financial Statements & Fixed Assets: Prepare monthly financial statements and manage fixed asset accounting for both companies according to schedule.
- Bank Reconciliations & Account Analysis: Perform monthly reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and conduct comprehensive account analysis.
- Management Reporting: Generate management reports as required and provide insightful financial analysis.
- Daily Reconciliations: Reconcile control and subsidiary ledgers along with cash flow on a daily basis.
- Audit Preparation: Compile work papers and schedules to support the annual audit process.
- System Proficiency: Master all accounting systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Payroll Management: Review timecard entries for accuracy, transmit payroll to ADP, and review payroll reports.
- Sales Receipts: Record and enter sales receipts when necessary.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Communication: Clearly convey recommendations, identify problems, and propose solutions effectively.
- Timeliness: Adhere to established schedules and meet set goals consistently.
- Accuracy & Analysis: Prepare precise reports and thoroughly analyze data for reasonableness.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all sensitive information.
- Professionalism: Apply sound accounting principles to all transactions and ensure proper follow-through and communication as needed.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in intermediate to advanced Excel, intermediate Word, and Outlook. Ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
