Responsibilities
As the Employee Relations Partner, job duties include:
- Gather information and prepare documentation related to employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with people managers to prepare appropriate progressive discipline documentation and track all actions.
- Conduct workplace investigations on claims of harassment, discrimination, and compliance matters, including developing investigation plans, conducting interviews, compiling documentation, and formulating findings and recommendations.
- Work with legal counsel and compliance as needed during investigations.
- Provide expert advice and coaching to management on various employee conduct and performance issues, including grievances of varying complexity.
- Manage the interactive process under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- 7+ years of experience in HR/Employee Relations working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing or scientific industry.
- Experience in a diverse environment (exempt and non-exempt workforce) is preferred.
- Familiarity with state and federal employment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Advanced interpersonal, conflict management, and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of cases.
