Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to Monthly Closing Schedule.
- Manages budget including SGA and consolidation process
- Prepares monthly financial statements and KPI Reports
- Manages physical inventory and reconciliation.
- Support in providing end of month financial reporting to include any corporate requirements.
- Manages internal and external audits.
- Ensure financial statements are reported in accordance with IFRS accounting standards.
- Ensures internal controls and compliance with J-Sox.
- Ensure payments are made to suppliers on time.
- Ensure payments are received from customers on time.
- Manage cash and checks.
- Monitor bank accounts balances
- Works with supervisors/managers to resolve Customer or costing issues to improve profitability
- Ensures that the company’s established procedures are followed
- Contributes to the organization through others and their specific technical expertise
- Leads and supervises other employees
