We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk with experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our team located on the Westside of Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering and updating data into our systems with a high degree of accuracy and reliability. This role requires excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support AR processes such as invoicing, payment reconciliation, and customer account maintenance.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Accurately input data related to customer payments, invoices, and other financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Accounts Receivable Support: Assist the AR team with tasks such as generating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
• Payment Processing: Enter and verify payments received from customers, ensuring correct application to the appropriate accounts and invoices.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain and update customer account records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
• Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling customer payments and accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Accuracy & Detail-Oriented Work: Ensure all data entry tasks are completed with precision, double-checking for errors or inconsistencies.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records and files, both electronically and physically, to ensure easy access to financial information.
• Communication: Communicate with customers, internal departments, and the AR team to address any billing or payment inquiries.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and compliance with AR processes.
