Randstad is seeking loan servicing professionals for a long-term assignment in Des Moines, IA. The position focuses on mailbox reconciliation and data management, requiring good attention to detail for verifying and updating closing disclosures and handling invoice processes. Key skills include accurate data entry, research capabilities, and effective written communication. The role involves minimal customer interaction, emphasizing independent work while collaborating with team members and settlement agents. An eagerness to learn and grow within the team is also essential. Position: Loan Servicing Rep 2 Location: Des Moines, IA 50309 Pay: $21.41/hr  Shift Days/Hours:  M-F 6am - 2:30pm

Responsibilities

• Mailbox Reconciliation - Don’t work directly with settlement agents
  • Mailbox team gets requests from funders/closers, remediation requests 
  • Will vet requests to make sure all info is accurate
  • Will make update to closing disclosure
• Data entry + Research
• No customer contact or calls to settlement agents 
• Uploading documents to database + adding notes into system of record
• If refunds are not accounted for, talent will find out what payments are for and identify how funds are off 
• Invoice process/POC (Paid Outside Closing) action: items not balanced, identifying closing disclosure refund, double checking items, trailing invoices, looking at LPO and understanding what fee codes mean
• Shipping Function: Review physical Closing Disclosures and checks to prepare for mail + will take on Closing Disclosure function
  • Verify fees for closing 
  • Printing shipping labels
  • Updating closing disclosures
  • Shipping out 
• Post-closing: will mark any items that have changed
• As talent grow within the team, will be trained on higher-level processes
