Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of business accounts to ensure timely payment collections, reducing aged receivables.
- Make collection calls and send follow-up communications to clients, handling inquiries professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales and Customer Service, to resolve any account disputes.
- Track and report collection metrics, including days sales outstanding (DSO) and aged balances.
- Prepare and send account statements and invoices to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, payment promises, and collection actions in the system.
- Conduct credit checks and analyze customer creditworthiness as needed.
- Escalate collection issues to management when necessary.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Education: High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel; strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Traits: Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and ability to handle high volumes of accounts professionally.
