Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings on job boards, identifying potential candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, and performing background checks.
- Manage candidate communications, including answering questions, informing them of hiring status, and extending formal offers of employment.
- Prepare and maintain new employee onboarding paperwork, set up personnel files, and coordinate new hire orientations.
- Keep personnel files current, conduct file and I-9 audits to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
- Stay updated on Labor and Employment laws to ensure adherence to EEO regulations and other compliance requirements.
- Compile and prepare complex compliance reports for various governmental agencies, such as Workers Compensation, OSHA, and EEO.
- Oversee accurate payroll processing, including updating records, managing benefit deductions, setting up accruals for new hires, and verifying end-of-year W2 processing.
- Ensure proper enrollment and management of employee health and voluntary benefits through the employee navigator system, including sending enrollment emails when eligible.
- Reconcile monthly benefits statements and Indeed invoices, and collaborate with Finance to confirm accuracy.
- Submit required compliance reports and government statistics, including data for 401K, EEO, Workers Compensation, Unemployment Insurance, and OSHA.
