Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Industry Required
- Analyze cost reports for raw material, work in process, finished goods inventory, and labor.
- Analyze production job costs throughout the month.
- Analysis of changes in product bill of materials, labor routers and effect on cost.
- Examine and review cost records and ensure cost data accuracy.
- Maintain cost accounting system for parts and equipment.
- Coordinate monthly and annual cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods warehouse.
- Assist Controller with annual plan of inventory needs and controls.
- Complete inventory reconciliations.
- Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
- Execute month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and close of the general ledger
- Prepare various reports as needed for the controller and CFO and other management as needed.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
