Responsibilities

Team Overview: Global Trading Operations. The team supports trade finance & supply chain. They support the deal of any goods movement that happens across the globe - target, Walmart, energy / gas companies that do business over seas.

Job Details & Responsibilities:

This contractor will be joining the Global Trade Operations team to perform strategic planning, manage risk management framework and discipline , controls design, controls testing, quality assurance and issues management. AML/Financial Crime, TBML (Trade based money laundering) and International Trade experience is key to the success.

• Provide letters of credit, financing etc. within global trade finance. Need to understand global policies in relation to the trade of goods.
• Standardize risk management framework, strategy and planning.
• Support periodic RCSA (risk control self-assessments)
• Assess current risk controls and design new controls and test effectiveness.
• Manage and create new business processes, required procedures to ensure compliance.
• Lead and facilitate issues management efforts related to internal and external audit.

Qualifications:

From a risk management stand point - there are specific candidates that have the trade finance experience but also the financial crimes experience. Looking for candidates that have the investigative mindset and have worked within this industry before. We need to be able to understand how they control and mitigate risk.
