Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections from customers.
- Generate and send invoices, statements, and account summaries to customers.
- Monitor accounts for discrepancies, overdue payments, and work closely with clients to resolve outstanding issues.
- Reconcile AR accounts and support month-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate billing information and resolve any logistics-related queries.
- Prepare AR aging reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary AR documentation and explanations.
- Experience: 2+ years in accounts receivable or a related financial role; logistics industry experience strongly preferred.
- Education: High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (ERP systems preferred) and Microsoft Excel; strong attention to detail.
- Traits: Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented approach.
