Responsibilities
As Process Improvement Lead, job duties include:
- Identify and implement operational changes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives related to packaging processes, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
- Analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend effective process modifications.
- Create comprehensive plans for process improvement or new process installations, including equipment selection, process flow, time studies, and layout optimization.
- Monitor, develop, and track downtime reporting and associated trends in packaging operations.
- Establish and maintain operational standards for equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Design plans for the efficient use of materials, machinery, and personnel to maximize productivity.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment; 5 years preferred.
- Proven experience in a Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement framework.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects and teams.
- Proficient in learning and utilizing in-house software systems effectively and efficiently.
