The ideal candidate has previous customer service or call center experience. Responsibilities

General duties include:

• Manage large amount of inbound & outbound calls in a timely manner for a multi-specialty, multi-location health center
  
  
• Call Center Representatives are expected to manage 80-100 calls per day with a 90% call answer rate
  
  
• Answers calls promptly in a polite and professional manner
  
  
• Identify client needs, clarify information, research issues & provide solutions
  
  
• Verify entered data coincides with appointments
  
  
• Verify patient insurance
  
  
• Verify patient demographics
  
  
• Maintain patient confidentiality
  
  
• Schedule patient appointments correctly 
  
  
• Provides patient-focused service and presents positive impression of LISH to both internal and external customers.
  
  

Requirements:

• Two years medical office experience, preferably in a fast paced physician practice/clinic.
• Two years Call Center Experience Strongly Preferred.
• Scheduling Software and EMR experience (eClinicalWorks experience desirable)
• English and Spanish is a plus
• High school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSE) required; College degree preferred
