We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Medical Billing Clerk to join a team of medical professionals at a pedicatric clinic in Franklin TN. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and submit medical claims using eClinical Works.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of billing information and documentation.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all billing activities.

 

salary: $21 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Essential Job Responsibilities:
 Work denied claims, correcting them and re-filing them
 Call on pending claims to determine the status, make corrections as needed and
refile.
 Collection module – work through this process in eCW
 Review accounts for accuracy.

Required Skills:
 Understanding of CPT and ICD10 coding rules and requirements
 computer skills
 Professional telephone etiquette
 Ability to multi-task and function under stress
 Ability to operate office equipment like fax and copy machines
 Knowledge of basic medical office terminology
