Responsibilities
The intern that gets this position will be working with the operators, supervisors and EHS personal to review the tasks and develop a JHA for each task. The following skills will be needed to do this:
1. Ability to work with others.
2. Ability to work in a clean room environment.
3. Ability to work in personal protective equipment (PPE).
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications
5. Able to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Assist with ad hoc requests and projects as needed.
7. Support investigations and data analyses
8. Observing and recording manufacturing operations to identify potential hazards and control measures.
9. Tracking and analyzing safety data.
10. Assisting in the development of risk assessment.
11. Assisting in improving near miss incident reporting.
12. Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
13. Attends and provides input to cross-departmental safety meetings.
14. Ability to apply basic safety principles.
15. Possess analytical and problem identification/resolution skills.
16. strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable business recommendations a plus
