Responsibilities
As a Procurement Marketing Buyer, Job Duties include:
- Draft, execute, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring alignment with procurement policies and predefined thresholds.
- Work with suppliers to review and approve contracts, ensuring mutual understanding and compliance with agreed terms.
- Lead negotiations to secure the best possible terms and conditions for Takeda, mitigating risks and maximizing value.
- Work closely with Category Managers, Global Legal, and internal stakeholders to align procurement priorities with business needs and ensure contract compliance.
- Prioritize procurement tasks based on cost, timeline, complexity, and business impact, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
- 3+ years of professional experience in procurement, specifically in the Marketing category (creative agencies, digital agencies, media, brand promotion).
- Experience working within a global organization, particularly in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier relationship management, regional/global market trends, procurement guidelines, and risk management.
- Familiarity with procurement software tools and contract management systems.
