A client of ours located in downtown Lexington, KY is seeking a Construction Paralegal to join their team.  This position is resonsible for assisting attorneys with routine aspects of legal and factual research and analysis, reviewing and analyzing documents, drafting legal documents, trial preparation, depositions and extensive document management. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package. 

salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine and specific research on legal and factual information, compiling data as directed by attorneys.
• Prepares legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, contracts, and trial binders, relevant to the specific practice group.
• Investigates the facts and legal aspects of cases to identify causes of action and prepare accordingly.
• Assists in managing litigation cases and large projects, which includes extensive document organization, retrieval, and production, as well as preparing for depositions and trial exhibits, and digesting deposition transcripts.
• Ensures proper indexing and filing of legal documents using litigation software or other necessary methods.
