About the Team The U.S. HR Benefits and LOA Operations Team at Bayer is dedicated to delivering outstanding support for our U.S. and Puerto Rico employees and retirees. We manage disability, health, retirement, and pension plans with a keen focus on compliance, customer service, and vendor coordination to ensure quality service every step of the way.
Position Overview As a key contributor to our team, you’ll lead essential work administering Bayer’s benefits programs—covering health, welfare, retirement, and disability. Your role will ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and top-notch program delivery while promoting employee engagement and education.

Responsibilities
Health & Welfare Programs (20%)
- Partner with internal and external benefits providers to enhance employee experience and support enrollment.
- Collaborate to deliver consistent education on total rewards, guiding employees and managers alike.
- Ensure accuracy in enrollments, changes, and events via HRIS, managing employee benefit files and compliance.
- Support daily administration of U.S. pension and 401(k) plans, including coordination of payments.
- Assist with spending accounts and Bayer’s Employer Stock Purchasing Program to deliver smooth employee experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on complex cases for disability, accommodations, and workers’ compensation.
- Manage case administration, coordinate payments, and facilitate training in disability leave management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Support the rollout of new plans, changes, and enhancements during annual benefits enrollment.
