Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities within the Injection Molding department.
- Ensure all documentation related to production, changeovers, and downtime is handled efficiently.
- Act as the liaison between production and supply chain teams, providing timely updates on upcoming downtime, changeovers, and any potential disruptions to operations.
- Ensure the Injection Molding department adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S standards.
- Coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Monitor and order spare parts and consumables required for injection molding and tooling operations.
- Ensure proper traceability of materials, including managing totes, gaylords, and plastic bins in accordance with company standards.
- Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for training and documentation purposes.
- Work closely with process engineers to document and log trials and development activities.
- Support safety programs and initiatives aimed at reducing the Incident Rate (RIR) within the department.
