Responsibilities
As the Lead Weapons Integration Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role from concept development to final validation, working as a technical leader within a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT). Your expertise in modern development processes and commitment to quality will drive product excellence and team productivity.
Required Skills:
- Experience leading all systems engineering tasks and cross-product activities across the program.
- Experience developing technical baselines (requirements/architecture); leading development teams; and developing and reviewing Engineering Change Requests.
- Experience leading requirements development, hardware and software integration, and requirements verification.
- Experience leading the development, integration, and test of military avionics systems or similarly complex systems.
- Experience leading Trade Studies, performing Risk and Opportunity analyses, and tracking and mitigating risks.
- Experience managing suppliers and overseeing the development of subsystems and components.
- Experience providing leadership, technical direction, and guidance to multi-discipline teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders including leading both internal and customer design reviews.
- In-depth understanding of the System Engineering Lifecycle and processes.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
