This high-level role combines traditional controller responsibilities with a focus on strategic financial planning. You’ll oversee the entire accounting department, manage financial operations, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance. In this position, you’ll play a key role in guiding financial strategy, driving long-term planning, and aligning finance operations with the company’s growth objectives. This role includes leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, along with overseeing day-to-day accounting functions and leading the accounting team to success. Responsibilities

• Develop and drive long-term financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and operational priorities.
• Lead company-wide financial forecasting and planning, offering strategic insights and actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
• Oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with departmental leaders to create realistic, growth-oriented budgets.
• Provide regular financial forecasts and analyze variances to ensure business targets are met, offering solutions and adjustments as needed.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP (or IFRS, as applicable).
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, with an emphasis on transparency and data integrity.
• Manage relationships with auditors, ensuring successful internal and external audit processes.
• Oversee cash flow planning and liquidity management to support strategic initiatives and ensure financial stability.
• Evaluate financing needs and manage investment and funding strategies in collaboration with the Owner.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering an environment of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
