Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial reporting, and assist in various finance projects
• Monthly account reconciliations
• Accounts Payable Functions
• File Monthly Sales Tax
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, practices, and regulatory requirements
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping entries
• Tangible Personal Property schedules
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Report monthly and quarterly financials to the Accounting Manager for final review
• Assist with inventory management
• Demonstrates self-motivation and can effectively manage tasks with minimal oversight

Skills

• Bank Reconciliations (3 years of experience is required)
• Accounts Payable (3 years of experience is required)
• General Ledger (3 years of experience is required)
