We are actively seeking a Medical Billing Representative to join a stable healthcare team. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in medical billing, excellent written and verbal communication, knowledge of third party billing, and knowledge of different insurance plans. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
 Posts medical charges generated from providers.
 Works with management and/or reviews records to ensure correct diagnosis/procedures
are reported to third party insurance carriers.
 Posts cash, check, credit card, money order payments collected at check-out.
 Processes Credit Card Payments received in the mail.
 Balances all charge/payment batches daily.
 Works with management on any billing trends/issues identified at charge posting.
 Missing charge/ticket follow-up.
 Bills for no show charges daily.
 Payment posting (ERA’s, incoming mail, personals, etc.)
 Daily Scanning
 Assists with bi-weekly collection letter mailings.
 Maintains confidentiality of all information.
 Responsible for maintaining an acceptable level of posting accuracy.
 Completes work within authorized time to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
 Assists with other departmental needs.
