lab operations intern - summer 2025.

In partnership with a major Life Science organization we are seeking candidates for a Summer Internship as a Lab Operations Intern based out of Rockville, MD. This is a 10 week Summer internship for 2025. Expected start date is June 2nd through August 8th, 2025. This role is 40 hrs / week and 100% onsite.



salary: $22 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities

We are currently seeing an intern for the Immunology Department to work with the team to learn about lab operations with this group.

Your Role:

• Assist in the preparation and execution of immunoassay experiments, including ELISA, western blotting, and flow cytometry.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks such as reagent preparation, sample handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Collect and analyze experimental data using appropriate software tools
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records of experiments and procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing assays under the supervision of senior team members.
• Support general lab organization, including inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Participate in team meetings and present findings or updates on assigned projects.

Who You Are:

• Undergraduate, ideally Freshman or recent HS graduate, actively enrolled in an academic program focused in Life Science or general studies
• able to commute to Rockville site for 100% onsite work
